Description
Crosslane Farm Cottages are a pair of farm cottages, now converted into one cottage, dating from the mid-18th century and altered in the early 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and features an old tile gabled roof with a rectangular plan and two storeys. A central chimney is located on the ridge, and the eaves have a dentil brick design.
On the entrance front, there are two bays of 2-light wood casements with glazing bars on the first floor, and three similar but taller bays on the ground floor. The ground floor also includes a planked entrance door on the right side, which is sheltered by a boarded hood. To the left, there is a small early 20th-century extension with a lean-to roof.
