Description

Foxcote is a late 16th-century cottage, altered in the 20th century. It is timber-framed with brick infill, and has a thatched roof with a gable on the left and a half-hip on the right. The cottage has a rectangular plan of three framed bays, with a single-storey extension at the rear. It is one storey high, with attics. There is an end chimney on the left. The east-facing front is irregular, with 20th-century casement windows. Two windows are on the upper level; one is leaded, and the other breaks the eaves with a small, hipped dormer. On the ground floor, there are three two-light windows – one to the left of a 20th-century gabled porch containing a plain door, and two to the right of the porch.
