Description

This barn, located approximately 10 metres north west of Pearce's Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century and was extended in the 18th century. It features a timber frame with weatherboarding and an old tile roof that is half hipped. The barn has a rectangular plan consisting of three bays framed in the 17th century and three bays framed in the 18th century. There are two hipped wagon entries on the south east side. The roof structure includes queen post clasped purlins, jowl posts, and straight wind-braces.
