3/35 Barn 10m, north of Valley - Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. C17 with a later extension at the east end. Timber framed and weatherboarded, pantiled roof. The original building has 5 bays with a central entrance bay; the easternmost bay was originally floored and is divided from the other 4 bays by a boarded partition. A good, mostly intact frame; of the 3 open trusses, 2 retain their arched braces. The roof has clasped and butt purlins with arched wind bracing between. There is a later lean-to on the north side.
