Description

This barn, located 20 meters east of Green Valley Farmhouse, dates back to the 17th century. It features exposed timber framing with plaster infilling below the middle rail and brick nogging above, along with weatherboarded gables and a pantiled roof. The barn has a well-preserved frame consisting of three bays, with a central cart entrance. The original arched braces of the central trusses have been replaced by bolted-on knees. Inside, there is a clasped purlin roof supported by arched wind bracing.
