Description

Manor Farmhouse is a timber-framed farmhouse with origins in the early to mid 16th century, originally a hall range to the west. A parlour addition was built in the late 16th century, extending to the south and creating an L-shaped plan. The exterior is mainly plastered with some mid-20th century pargetting. The roofs are largely plaintiled, with some pantiled sections. The farmhouse is two storeys and has attics. Mid-20th century casement windows are present throughout. A corner porch with a mid-20th century door is situated at the entrance. An internal stack is located at the junction between the parlour range and the original section, while a gable stack is present on the south range. The interior has been modernised, but much of the original structure remains visible. The hall range features shaped heads to the storey posts. Both ranges have wind-braced roofs with clasped and butt purlins.
