Description
This is a barn located to the west of Pasture Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century with additional bays added in the 18th century. The barn is timber framed and weatherboarded, resting on a rubble plinth, and features a roof clad in corrugated iron. The original 17th-century section consists of four bays at the southwest, with an off-centre wagon entry, mid-rail, and curved wall bracing. It has a double purlin roof supported by queen strut trusses, along with curved purlin and tie beam braces. The three bays added in the 18th century create a larger threshing barn, which has a single purlin roof supported by raking queen posts.
