Description
Glasspool House is a cottage that dates back to the 16th century and was altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill and a half-hipped thatched roof. The building has a rectangular plan consisting of three framed bays, along with a 20th-century flat roof extension at the rear. It stands two storeys high and has a flanking chimney on the right side, as well as one chimney at the rear. The entrance front has four bays and includes a 20th-century door located under a gable porch in the second bay from the right. There is an old fire insurance plaque mounted on a post at first floor level to the left of the entrance. Inside, the timber frame is exposed, and the roof features a queen post design with curved windbraces.
