Description
Angel Sprints is a cottage dating from the late 16th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill and a thatched hip roof, which sweeps down at the rear to a low eaves level. The building has a rectangular plan consisting of four framed bays, with an outshut at the rear, and stands two storeys tall. A chimney is located on the ridge to the right of the center. The entrance front has three bays and includes a four-panelled entrance door situated under a tiled gabled base porch to the left of center. The windows are 20th-century two and three-light leaded casements, scattered throughout the frame. The cottage was once known as the Angel Inn.
