Description

Old Cobley is a cottage dating from the 16th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill and a thatched roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and has three bays. The front of the cottage has a plank door on the right-hand side of the centre bay, leading to a baffle entry. Each bay contains a two-light casement window. Above the left-hand and centre bays, there are eyebrow dormers with two lights. The roof is half-hipped on the right-hand side. At the right end, there is a weatherboarded lean-to that is set back.
