Description

Tudor Post Office Stores is a cottage that now serves as both a cottage and a shop with a post office. It dates from the late 16th century and was altered in the 20th century. The building is timber framed with painted brick infill and features a half hipped thatched roof. It has two storeys and a central chimney on the ridge. The rectangular plan consists of three framed bays, with a flat-roofed shop extension on the east side. The entrance front includes a 20th-century lean-to addition on the right, 20th-century metal leaded windows, and a 20th-century gabled entrance porch in the middle.
