Description
Jackaways Cottage and Huntsman's Cottage are two houses dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century addition at the rear. The buildings feature a rendered timber frame and an old tile roof. They are designed in a lobby entrance style with three framed bays and stand two storeys tall.
The exterior includes a raking dormer with a two-light casement positioned off-centre to the left, a ridge stack located above the door off-centre to the left, and another stack in front of the ridge off-centre to the right. On the first floor, there are three two-light casements, while the ground floor has a two-light casement to the left, a three-light casement from the 20th century off-centre to the right, and two small 20th-century casements to the far right.
A gabled 20th-century porch with a boarded door is situated beneath the stack off-centre to the left, positioned between the first and second windows from the left. Additionally, there is a 20th-century lean-to porch with a door at the right-hand end.
