Description
White Lodge and White House are two houses dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, with late 19th-century additions. The right-hand block features a rendered timber frame with a tile-hung gable end on the right and later brick and tile-hung gabled sections at the rear. It has an old tile roof with stacks on the left and right at the rear. This block has two framed bays and is two storeys high. The first floor has two 5-light casement windows from the 20th century, while the ground floor has a 3-light casement window to the right and a white-painted brick lean-to porch with a boarded door to the left. The left-hand block is constructed of rendered brick and has an old tile hipped roof with an off-centre ridge stack to the right and a stack at the rear to the left. This block is also two storeys high and consists of five bays with sash windows. The ground floor features French casements with overlights, and the entrance is located on the left.
