Description
The Orangery is a building that has been converted into a house, dating from around 1843 and likely designed by J.B. Papworth. It is constructed of red brick and features three large arched recesses with stone dressings, including architraves and moulded imposts. The building has a string course, cornice, and a coped parapet above a hipped slate roof. It is a single storey structure. The outer arches contain two 20th-century plate glass windows with overlights, while the central arch features a 20th-century six-panelled door with a three-light overlight above it. The building has set back flanking wings that have shaped coped parapets. To the right, there is a blank semi-circular arch, and to the left, a 20th-century door is located within a semi-circular archway.
