The roof is tiled, with a half-hipped section to the right, and features two gabled dormers, each with a three-light leaded casement window. A chimney stack is positioned off-centre to the right of the roof ridge. The cottage is of a lobby entrance type, originally comprising two framed bays. The door is located beneath the chimney stack, which is off-centre to the left. A rustic, gabled porch shelters the entrance.
