Description
Church Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with 18th and 20th-century additions. It is constructed of red brick with rendered dressings, and flint with brick dressings to the west. The main block is set back to the right and has a battlemented parapet to its hipped old tile roof, a stack to the rear, and a 20th-century weathervane. It features two 20th-century segmental-headed casements on the first floor, two 20th-century segmental-headed windows on the ground floor to the right, and a 20th-century glazed door to the left, with a flat hood supported on wrought iron brackets. A block projects to the left, featuring square corner piers with finials and a shaped gable end with a blank circular panel. This block has an old tile roof, hipped to the rear, with a six-diamond shafted stack to the right. It has two 20th-century French casements with a wrought iron balcony on the first floor and a 20th-century glazed door to the left on the ground floor.
