Description
Woolwichgreen Farm is a farmhouse, now a house, that dates back to the 16th century but was rebuilt in the 18th century and altered in the late 20th century. The building features part timber framing with brick infill and part brick construction, topped by an old tile gabled roof. It has a T-plan layout with three framed bays and a single-storey extension added at the rear. The farmhouse stands two storeys high and has flanking chimneys, with the right chimney being larger and projecting from the wall, showcasing diaper patterned brickwork and two large diamond-shaped shafts with offset heads and bases.
On the southwest front, some of the timber frame is exposed while other parts have been renewed; the gable on the right is also visible. The facade includes three-light scattered 20th-century leaded casement windows and two brick buttresses. In the centre, there are a pair of 20th-century leaded casement doors. A hipped 20th-century entrance porch is located on the south gable return. Inside, some timber framing is exposed, although there are 20th-century replacements.
