Description
Old Oak Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with additions from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. It has a timber frame with angle braces and brick nogging, along with a 20th-century brick addition on the right side. The cottage features a hipped thatched roof, with two eyebrow eaves dormers on the left that contain 2-light casements, and another dormer on the right also with a 2-light casement. There is an off-centre ridge stack to the left and a central stack located behind the ridge. The building comprises one framed bay with an 18th-century framed bay to the left. It is one and a half storeys high, with a 2-light casement to the left and two 2-light casements to the right. Between the first and second windows from the left, there is a two-leaf boarded door. To the right, there is a 3-light casement and a boarded door to the left in the 20th-century addition.
