Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with 20th-century additions at the rear. It features a timber frame with angle braces and red brick nogging. The roof is half hipped and covered with old tiles, with an off-centre ridge stack to the right and a gabled eaves dormer on the right side that contains a 2-light casement window. The cottage has two framed bays and is 1½ storeys high. On the ground floor, there is a 2-light casement window to the right and a 3-light leaded casement window from the 20th century off-centre to the left. To the far left, there is a sealed 2-leaf boarded door, while a 20th-century boarded door is set back in the 20th-century addition to the left.
