Description
Fallows is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with some partial re-facing from the 18th century and a 20th-century addition. It features a timber frame with square panels and angle braces, painted brick nogging, and a tiled roof. The building consists of two framed bays and is 1½ storeys high.
On the south front, there is a gabled eaves dormer to the left, a 20th-century casement window, an off-centre ridge stack to the right, and an end stack to the left. The ground floor has two 2-light casements, with the left one having a segmental head, flanking a segmental-headed boarded door that is off-centre to the left. To the right, there is a one-storey addition featuring a central ridge stack, two gabled eaves dormers, and two ground floor casements on the north side. Inside, a queen post truss with v-struts is exposed in the gable end to the west.
