Description
Sheriffhales Lodge is an estate lodge built in the late 19th century. It features a timber frame with some planted timbers, rendered infill panels, an ashlar plinth, and an old tile roof with an axial stack. The building has a baffle entry and a T-plan layout, consisting of one storey and an attic. It includes three bays, with outer four-light casements and a central ledged door. Notable elements of the facade are a projecting porch that supports a high gabled dormer with an open bargeboard, a finial, and a pendant. There is also a decorative band of concave lozenge panelling below the eaves that extends across the gable, and a central ridge stack with two diagonal shafts.
