Description

Sheene House is a house dating from the late 16th century, with a 19th-century re-facing. It is timber framed and has painted brick facing, covered by an old tile roof. The house has five framed bays, with four gabled eaves dormers containing two-light casements, stepped parapeted gable ends, an end stack to the left, and a ridge stack off-centre to the right. The upper storey has 1½ storeys. There are two segmental-headed 19th-century cross windows to the left, a large 19th- and 20th-century six-light casement to the right with a segmental head over the right-hand part, and a four-panelled door between the first and second windows from the left. The door has a two-light rectangular overlight, and a gabled 19th-century porch.
