Description
Brookview Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed with a timber frame and has white painted brick nogging, topped by an old tile roof. The cottage consists of one framed bay and is 1½ storeys high. The framing features square panels with straight braces, and there are exposed queen post trusses with v-struts. There is an end stack located to the north. On the south side, there are two 2-light 19th-century attic casements, and below them, a single 2-light ground floor casement. A boarded door is situated on the west side, along with a 20th-century timber framed lean-to also on the west.
