Description
Stanton Cottages are two cottages dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and red brick nogging, featuring red brick underbuilding and partial re-facing on the left side, topped with an old tile roof. The cottages consist of two framed bays and are one and a half storeys tall.
The framing includes square panels with straight braces. There are three gabled eaves dormers that have two-light casements, and a stack is located at the rear. The front has three windows fitted with 19th-century casements, along with two boarded doors. To the left, there is a later lean-to addition.
