Description
Ruckley Lodge is a lodge built around 1904, likely designed by Sir Ernest George and Yates. It features a pebbledash exterior and a tiled roof, showcasing a restrained Arts and Crafts style. The building is 1½ storeys tall and has gables with lightly moulded barge boards and carved pendants, along with a large chimney stack at the rear. The windows are leaded oak casements with moulded cornices, and the fenestration is slightly irregular. There is one window on each side of a central catslide lean-to porch, which has a later glazed door and a lunette opening on the east side. The east gable end includes two windows, with a square bay window on the ground floor to the left and a smaller window to the right. At the rear, there is a lean-to scullery. Ruckley Lodge serves as the entrance lodge to Ruckley Grange.
