Description
Ridgeway House and Lutyens Cottage, dating to circa 1910, were designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. The building comprises two cottages with a red brick exterior, accented by lighter red brick dressings, gauged window heads, and a plat band. The roof is of old tile, hipped with two hipped cross wings to the right and left, and features two large, battered ridge stacks positioned slightly off-centre. It follows an H-plan layout. The two storeys are arranged with a three-bay central section and one-bay wings, featuring two-light casement windows; those on the ground floor have segmental heads. Entrances are located at the right and left-hand ends of the building.
