Description
44 Egremont Place is a terraced house built around 1825. The exterior features stucco on the bay and parapet, with painted brick in Flemish bond. The roof is obscured by the parapet. The house has three storeys above a basement and a two-window range. There are stairs leading up to a round-arched entrance, although the fanlight is blocked. The entrance has brick jambs and voussoirs. To the left, there is a full-height segmental bay with flat-arched, tripartite windows; the side windows retain original glazing bars, while the center windows were replaced in the late 19th or 20th century. To the right of the bay, on the first and second floors, there is a blocked camber-arched window with a gauged brick lintel, and a projecting sill on the second-floor window, which is also blocked. The interior has not been inspected.
