Description
25 Russell Square is a terraced house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stucco with a turnerised roof and has three storeys above a basement, featuring a one-window range. The flat-arched entrance includes an overlight and an original panelled door that is now partly glazed. All the windows are flat-arched, with the first-floor windows being French windows that open onto a bracketed verandah adorned with wrought-iron railings and a concave canopy. The cornice and blocking course above the second-floor window have been renewed. The first- and second-floor windows are flanked by incised key patterns, and the cornice has been renewed. The parapet is railed and panelled in the centre, and there is a stack on the party wall. The interior has not been inspected.
