Description
46B Regency Square is a mid-19th century terraced house located in Brighton. The exterior is finished in stucco, and the roof is hidden behind a parapet. The building stands three stories tall and features a single narrow window bay facing the street, which is elaborately decorated. The ground floor likely dates from the 20th century and includes a shouldered arch with an enriched cornice. The first and second floors are flanked by rusticated pilasters. The first-floor window has a basket arch, while the second-floor window is round-arched and adorned with pilasters that have foliage capitals, along with an archivolt featuring a scrolled acanthus keystone. The frieze displays a Greek key design, and there is a modillion cornice along with a panelled and enriched parapet. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
