Description

These are early 19th-century terraced houses located on the south side of Castle Street in Brighton. The houses are stucco-faced with a tile roof. They are three storeys high and have a single-window range. The ground floor is rusticated and features a flat-arched entrance with an overlight. All windows are flat-arched. A storey band runs above the ground floor, and the first and second floors are flanked by giant Ionic pilasters. The first-floor windows have cornices supported by consoles. The original sash windows remain in most of the openings, except for those on the first floor of number 34. An entablature and blocking course are present, and stacks are located on the party walls. The interior has not been inspected.
