Description

Number 7 is a detached house dating to around 1840. It is constructed of stucco with a slate roof. The house has two storeys and a three-window front, designed in a double-fronted style. Chamfered quoins define the corners. The entrance features a round-arched opening with a fanlight, flanked by pilasters and a pediment, although these may have been replaced. All windows are flat-arched, with canted bays to either side featuring concave canopies and a cornice. The first-floor windows retain their original sash design. The eaves are bracketed and panelled, and the roof is hipped with side stacks. A return elevation faces Clifton Road, presenting a single-window range. The interior remains uninspected. Stuccoed garden walls are present with square, corniced piers.
