Description

Number 12 Powis Square is a circa 1850 terraced house. It is stuccoed with a slate roof and has end chimney stacks. The house has three storeys over a basement, and originally had three windows at the front. The second-floor windows are sashes with vertical glazing bars set within moulded architraves. The ground and first floors feature two-storey canted bays without glazing bars, along with a central window of a similar design. Architectural details include a moulded cornice, a band separating the floors, and rusticated detailing to the ground floor. A flat-arched doorcase with pilasters and an entablature provides access to the house. The interior remains uninspected. Cast-iron railings with spearhead finials extend to the steps and area.
