Description
No 5 Park Lane is a building from the 18th century, featuring a front that may incorporate an earlier structure. It has two storeys and is clad in painted weatherboarding. The first floor has one modern paired sash window and one modern casement window, while the ground floor includes one old sash window and one modern casement window. The roof is covered with old tiles and has a central brick chimney stack at the front of the ridge. The entrance to No 5 is located at the left end, accessed through a glazed lean-to vestibule that is attached to the shop front of No 3.
No 5 Park Lane is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 25 (odd) Park Lane, Nos 45 to 57 (odd) The Broadway, and Nos 1 to 9 (odd) Malden Road, along with the garden wall to the north of Nos 1 and 3 Malden Road and the Rectory garden walls and laundry in the grounds of the Rectory.
