Description
The north boundary wall to Number 1 (Whitehall) and Number 3 (Nonsuch Cottage) is likely from the 18th century. It is a high wall made of red brick, with some dark blue brick incorporated, and features a plain capping. The wall includes some brick pilasters and buttresses but is in poor repair towards the south-west end. It extends south-west from the rear of the garage to Nonsuch Cottage, reaching a point roughly opposite Number 25 Park Lane. This wall is part of a group that includes Numbers 1 to 9 (odd) Malden Road, the garden wall to the north of Numbers 1 and 3 Malden Road, the Rectory, garden walls, and laundry in the grounds of the Rectory, as well as Numbers 45 to 57 (odd) The Broadway and Numbers 1 to 25 (odd) Park Lane.
