Description
The north garden wall to Number 10, located on the east and west sides of the house, dates from the 18th to 19th century. It is a high wall made of red brick, topped with red brick capping. The wall extends eastward from the horse and slopes down towards the front garden wall. To the west, it stretches through a length of seven bays, with each bay flanked by a brick pilaster. There is a segmental headed gateway in the easternmost bay, which is now blocked. This wall is part of a group of listed buildings that includes Numbers 1 to 9 (consecutive) Lowndes Buildings on Castle Street (West Side).
