Description

The garden wall to the east of Number Four on Downing Street is from the 18th century and later. It is made of red brick, which is divided into bays by red brick pilasters. The wall features a low plinth and capping. This wall, along with Numbers 2, 3, and 4, forms a group with the listed buildings on the south side of Lower Church Lane and should be considered in relation to them.
