Description
This is a two-story house built in 1830 with a front facade replacing an older structure. It is constructed of yellow stock brick with stucco dressings. A molded stucco plinth runs along the base of the building, and a stucco string is positioned at the first-floor level. The projecting cornice, featuring molded detail and supported by pairs of console brackets, extends over the gables and is topped with a molded stucco coping raised above the central bay. The front has three windows on the first floor, each with a molded stucco architrave and cornice, with the central window having a segmental arched head. The ground floor contains two three-light windows with molded architraves and some original glazing bars. The central entrance has a six-panel door and an arched fanlight of wrought iron in a Gothic radiating pattern, set within a rectangular opening with panelled reveals, an eared architrave, frieze, and cornice. The doorway is recessed and surrounded by chamfered stucco quoins. Two stone steps lead to the entrance. The rear of the building features three small gables and three windows. The underlying structure dates from the 18th century or earlier.
