Description

This is an 18th-century building located on Park Road, Cheam, consisting of two parallel ranges, with a lower section at the rear. Number 3 represents an altered wing of the same construction as Number 5. The front of Number 3 was refaced in the 19th century using yellow brick. It has two storeys and one bay, featuring a sash window with glazing bars set within the reveal, and a lower window with a slightly segmental head.

Number 5 has a red brick facade and two storeys. It features three sash windows, the central one being round-headed with a stone keystone and archivolts. The ground floor has two small, canted sash windows. A simple doorcase in an Adam style is centrally positioned, adorned with pilasters featuring husk pendants, a fluted and roundel frieze, a dentilled cornice, and a pediment. The round-headed doorway further incorporates ornamental spandrels, a six-panel door, and a plain fanlight. Both buildings are topped with an old tile roof, partially renewed with corrugated asbestos cement, and a parapet. Number 5 also has a brick dentil cornice.
