Description
The Old Red Lion Inn is a public house that dates back to the 16th or 17th century and has undergone significant alterations and enlargements. It consists of two parallel ranges and is two storeys high, featuring weatherboarding and tiled roofs. A red brick chimney stack with a stepped base is located towards the west end, behind the ridge of the front range. The street-facing side has three first-floor flush casements with glazing bars. There is a later wing on the left that is positioned at right angles to the main structure, along with a modern ground floor flat-roofed extension.
