Description
The lychgate in the churchyard of St Dunstan's, built in 1891, is designed in the Neo-Gothic style. It features a base made of red brick and flint with stone dressings, and a gabled timber superstructure topped with a tiled roof. There is a projecting gable above the entrance to the churchyard, and the infilling between the timbers is made of cement with pargetting. The lychgate also has pierced carved bargeboards.
This structure forms a group with Nos 1 to 4 Church Road, the Church of St Dunstan, Lumley Chapel, the boundary wall to the former West Cheam Manor House, Church Farm Lane, and Church Farm House on Springclose Lane.
