Description

Milestone located at the junction with Rocks Lane, dating from the late 18th century. It is made of stone and features a pyramidal cap. Two sides of the milestone indicate "IX miles from the standard (in Cornhill?)", while one side states "V miles 3 quarters from Hyde" (Park Corner), and the fourth side shows "VII miles 3 quarters from Hampton Court".
