79 And 81, Gloucester Terrace W2

Nos 79 and 81 Gloucester Terrace are a pair of terraced houses built around 1840. They are constructed of stucco and feature slate mansard roofs. The houses rise three storeys above a basement and each is two windows wide. The left side of each house has a full-length segmental bow with a single tripartite window on each floor. To the right, there is a slightly projecting Doric porch with semi-circular architraved windows above. The buildings have rusticated quoins and channelling on the ground floor. The windows are mainly sashed, with some casements and plate glass. A continuous bombe balcony runs along the first floor, and there is a dentil cornice and balustraded parapets. These houses are part of a series of similar rows that line Gloucester Terrace.
