Description
No. 3 Craven Hill is a detached villa dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick with stucco dressings, and has a roof that is not visible. The property is two storeys high, with an attic and basement, and has a facade of four windows. A slightly projecting, solid-sided, pilastered porch is located to the entrance, which is in the second bay from the right. The ground floor is channelled with stucco. There is a cornice above the ground floor and a stucco balcony to the first floor. The windows above the ground floor have architraves and are sash windows, some with glazing bars. Pilasters are located between the bays on the first floor, and there is a cornice over a subsidiary cornice above the second floor. The building is finished with a balustraded parapet.
