Description

No. 9, Craven Hill is a detached villa dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of yellow brick with stucco dressings and features a stucco-faced mansard roof. The building is three storeys high with dormers and has a three-window front. The ground floor is stuccoed and incorporates an Ionic colonnade supporting a balcony, which projects forward to form a glazed Ionic porch. A balustraded balcony is present on the first floor. The windows are square-headed, architraved sashes with plate glass. Panelled pilasters are situated between the first and second floor windows.
