Description
This is a detached villa located at 1 Craven Hill, built in the mid-19th century and recently restored. The building is constructed of yellow brick with stucco dressings and features a slated lipped roof. It stands three storeys high with a basement and is three windows wide, with an additional three-storey recessed wing on each side. The design is symmetrical, with channelled stucco on the ground floor. A central projecting porch with pilasters leads to a solid-sided panelled door. The ground floor windows have pilastered surrounds, while the first-floor windows are architraved and corniced, each with stucco balconies. Above the first floor, there is a plain stucco band, and the upper windows are unmarked. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, and there is an eaves cornice.
