Description

This is a row of three houses located on Talbot Road in Westminster, built in the middle of the 19th century. The houses are constructed of stucco and extend over three storeys, with an attic and basement. Each house has a symmetrical facade of two windows. The design includes prominent, giant Corinthian pilasters that rise through the first and second floors, separating the houses. The ground floor is rusticated. A projecting porch is located on the centre house, while other houses feature recessed porches incorporated into two-storey, one-window side bays. The panelled front doors lead to the entrance. The ground floor windows are architraved, and the first floor windows are pedimented with sash glazing and plate glass. The first floor also has French casements. A dentil cornice sits above the second floor, and a smaller subsidiary cornice defines the attic.
