Description

A pair of houses located on Randolph Road in Westminster, dating from the mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of brick, with a stucco finish, and extend over three storeys with a raised central section and a basement. They have four bays, with the central two projecting slightly. Steps lead to paired porches supported by Tuscan columns, featuring a decorative stucco band on panelled pedestals. A modillion cornice runs along the top of the front elevation. The houses have panelled front doors with fanlights set within keyed openings. Sashes with banded surrounds and scrolled ironwork are present throughout. Sill bands are also visible. The first floor features round-arched sashes with glazing bars and radial glazing to the heads, set within panelled pilaster surrounds with dentilled cornices. The second floor has sashes in architraves, with cornices to the centre and segmental pediments to the outer bays, all above a voluted cornice.
