Description
This is a mid-19th century villa located on Randolph Road, with a return front facing Clifton Gardens. The building is constructed of brick, with a stucco finish, and stands three stories high with a basement. It has a three-bay facade. A central projecting porch features a modillion cornice supported by Tuscan columns, with a decorative stucco band on the pedestals. This porch provides access to double doors with jambs and overlights. The windows are sash windows with vertical glazing bars, set within banded architraves. To the right of the porch is a two-story, three-window canted bay. Horizontal floor bands run across the facade. The first floor features round-arched sash windows within panelled pilaster surrounds, and an iron balcony serves the canted bay, though it has lost its cornice. The second floor windows are sash windows in architraves, topped with segmental pediments on the side bays. A cornice with volutes sits above the main facade, and the central bay is raised. The return front facing Clifton Gardens is four bays wide, with a raised central section.
