Description
A pair of houses located on Randolph Road, dating from the mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of brick, with a stucco finish, and extend over three storeys, featuring a raised central section and a basement. They comprise four bays, with the central two projecting slightly. Steps lead to paired door porches supported by Tuscan columns, with decorative stucco banding on panelled pedestals. A modillion cornice runs along the top. The panelled front doors include fanlights set within keyed surrounds. A one-storey canted bay window is located to the left, and a two-storey canted bay is on the right. These bays feature sashes in banded surrounds with scrolled ironwork and are topped with stucco shell motifs. Sill bands are present throughout. The first-floor windows are round-arched sashes with glazing bars and radial glazing within their heads, set in panelled pilaster surrounds with dentilled cornices. Second-floor sashes are contained within architraves with cornices to the centre, with segmental pediments above a voluted cornice to the outer bays.
