Description

Nos 15 and 16 Randolph Road are a pair of mid-19th century houses located in the City of Westminster. They are built from brick and covered in stucco, standing three storeys high with a raised central section and a basement. The façade features four bays, with the two central bays slightly projecting forward. There are steps leading up to paired porches supported by Tuscan columns, which have decorative stucco bands on their panelled pedestals.

The houses have a modillion cornice and panelled doors with fanlights set in keyed openings. The windows are sashes within banded surrounds, adorned with scrolled ironwork and sill bands. On the first floor, there are round-arched sashes with glazing bars and radial glazing in the heads, framed by panelled pilaster surrounds topped with dentilled cornices. The second floor features sashes within architraves that have cornices at the centre and segmental pediments over the outer bays, all above a voluted cornice. The buildings were undergoing renovation at the time of the last survey.
